Pharoahs Car Club History

The Pharoahs Car Club was founded in 1948 , in Modesto, California, primarily by WWII and Korean war veterans.

The younger school kids in Modesto, being too young to join the Pharoahs, formed the Fraternity called the Faros in 1957. The Faros was the group that George Lucas wrote about in the movie American Grafitti. They were his classmates. Due to copyright issues, the movie used a different spelling

Today's Pharoahs Car Club is a world wide club with chapters across the United States, and internationally in Japan, Australia, Finland, United Kingdom, Norway, Canada and Mexico.

2023 marked the 75th Anniversary of the Pharoahs Car Club.

Pharoahs of Southern Colorado

Welcome to the Southern Colorado chapter of the Pharoahs Car Club, established in 2023! Our chapter was formed to connect car enthusiasts in the region, bridging the gap from the Colorado chapter founded in 2020 and the Northern Colorado chapter created in 2022. Our chapter serves the San Luis Valley of Colorado.

Though our chapter has our own officers, meetings, and events, we support and attend the other Colorado chapter's events whenever possible.

Join as we celebrate our passion for cars and foster a vibrant community of like-minded individuals. We look forward to hitting the road together!
